This information is provided pursuant to art. 13 of the afore-mentioned Regulation to those persons who interact with the web services for the protection of personal data, accessible electronically from the address www.oms-saleri.it corresponding to the initial page of the official website.

The information is provided only for this website and not for other websites that may be consulted by the user through links.

PLACE OF DATA PROCESSING

The processings connected to the web services of this website are handled only by personnel assigned to processing, or by any persons with the task of occasional maintenance operations. No data deriving from the web service is communicated or disclosed. The personal data provided by users who send requests for information or for the sending of information material (newsletters, brochures, catalogues, replies to information, etc.) is used for the sole purpose of carrying out the service or provision requested and are communicated to third parties only if this is necessary for this purpose.

TYPES OF DATA PROCESSED

  • Browsing data

During their normal operation, the IT systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire certain personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This is information that is not collected to be associated with identified interested parties but which, by its very nature, could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified. This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users who connect to the website, the addresses in URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) notation of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used in submitting the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the operating system and to the user’s IT environment. This data is used for the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on the use of the website and to check its correct functioning and is deleted immediately after processing. The data could be used to ascertain responsibility in the event of hypothetical computer crimes against the website: except for this eventuality, at present the data on web contacts do not persist for more than seven days.

  • Data provided voluntarily by the user

The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of e-mails to the addresses indicated on this website entails the subsequent acquisition of the sender’s address, necessary to respond to requests, as well as any other personal data included in the message. Specific summary information will be progressively reported or displayed on the pages of the website prepared for particular services on request.

INFORMATION ON THE USE OF COOKIES

The www.oms-saleri.it website uses cookies and similar technologies to ensure correct functioning of the procedures and to improve the experience of using online applications. This document provides detailed information on the use of cookies and similar technologies, on how they are used by www.oms-saleri.it and on how to manage them.

  • Definition

Cookies are short fragments of text (letters and / or numbers) that allow the web server to store information on the client (the browser) to be reused during the same visit to the website (session cookies) or later, even after a number of days (persistent cookies). Cookies are stored, based on user preferences, by the single browser on the specific device used (computer, tablet, smartphone). Similar technologies, such as, for example, web beacons, transparent GIFs and all forms of local storage introduced with HTML5, can be used to collect information on user behaviour and on the use of services. Later in this document we will refer to cookies and to all similar technologies by simply using the term “cookie”.

  • Types of cookies

Based on the characteristics and use of cookies, several categories can be distinguished:

a) Strictly necessary cookies: these are cookies that are essential for the correct functioning of the www.oms-saleri.it website and are used to manage the login and access to the reserved functions of the website. The duration of cookies is strictly limited to the work session (once the browser is closed they are deleted). Their deactivation compromises the use of services accessible by login. The public part of the website www.oms-saleri.it remains normally usable.

b) Analysis and performance cookies: these are cookies that are used to collect and analyse the traffic and use of the website anonymously. These cookies, even without identifying the user, allow, for example, ascertaining if the same user returns to connect at different times. They also allow monitoring of the system and improvement of its performance and usability. Deactivation of these cookies can be performed without any loss of functionality.

c) Profiling cookies: these are permanent cookies used to identify (anonymously or otherwise) the preferences of user and to improve their browsing experience. The www.oms-saleri.it website does not use this type of cookie.

d) Third-party cookies: visiting a website it is possible to receive cookies both from the visited website (“owners”) and from websites managed by other organisations (“third parties”). A notable example is the presence of “social plugins” for Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and LinkedIn. These are parts of the page visited, generated directly by the afore-mentioned websites and integrated into the page of the host website. The most common use of social plugins is aimed at sharing content on social networks. The presence of these plugins involves the transmission of cookies to and from all websites managed by third parties. The management of the information collected by “third parties” is governed by the relevant information which should be referred to.

  • Google Analytics

The www.oms-saleri.it website also includes certain components transmitted by Google Analytics, a web traffic analysis service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Again, these are third-party cookies collected and managed anonymously to monitor and improve the performance of the host website (performance cookie). Google Analytics uses “cookies” to collect and analyse anonymous information on the behaviour of use of the www.oms-saleri.it website (including the user’s IP address). This information is collected by Google Analytics, which processes it for the purpose of drawing up reports for the operators of www.oms-saleri.it regarding the activities on the websites themselves. This website does not use (and does not allow third parties to use) the Google analysis tool to monitor or collect personal identification information. Google does not associate the IP address with any other data held by Google nor does it try to connect an IP address with the identity of a user. Google can also communicate this information to third parties where this is required by law or where such third parties process the afore-mentioned information on behalf of Google.

The user can selectively disable the action of Google Analytics by installing the opt-out component provided by Google on its browser.

  • Duration of cookies

Some cookies (session cookies) remain active only until the browser is closed or until the logout command is executed. Other cookies “survive” when the browser is closed and are also available upon subsequent visits by the user. These cookies are called persistent and their duration is set by the server when they are created. In some cases an expiry time is set while in other cases the duration is unlimited. www.oms-saleri.it does not use persistent cookies. However, by browsing the pages of the www.oms-saleri.it website, it is possible to interact with websites managed by third parties that can create or modify permanent and profiling cookies.

  • Management of cookies

The user can decide whether or not to accept the cookies by means of the settings of their own browser.

The total or partial disabling of technical cookies can compromise use of the website features reserved for registered users. Instead, the usability of public content is also possible by completely disabling cookies. Disabling “third party” cookies does not affect browsing in any way. The setting can be defined specifically for the different websites and web applications. Furthermore, the best browsers are used to define different settings for “proprietary” and “third party” cookies.

OPTIONAL DATA PROVISION

Aside from that specified for navigation data, the user is free to provide personal data contained in the request forms of the website www.oms-saleri.it or indicated in contacts with the Office to request the sending of material information or other communications. The absence of such data may make it impossible to obtain what is requested. For the purposes of completeness, it should be remembered that in some cases (not subject to the ordinary management of this website) the Authority may request news and information for the purposes of monitoring the processing of personal data. In these cases, a response is mandatory, failing which an administrative penalty may be imposed.

PROCESSING METHODS

Personal data is processed with automated tools for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected. Specific security measures are observed to prevent the loss of data, illicit or incorrect use and unauthorised access. www.oms-saleri.it respects Reg. EU 2016/679 and periodically adjusts the control and data processing procedures.

RIGHTS OF THE INTERESTED PARTIES

The subjects to whom the personal data refer have the right at any time to obtain confirmation of the existence or otherwise of the same data and to know its content and origin, to verify its accuracy or to request its integration, updating or correction (Chapter III, section III EU regulation 2016/679).

Pursuant to the same chapter, it is possible to request the deletion, transformation into anonymous form or blocking of data processed in violation of the law and to oppose in any case, for legitimate reasons, its processing. Every effort will be made to make the functionality of this website as interoperable as possible with the automatic privacy control mechanisms available in certain products used by users.
